Oh my gosh! You guys!
I have the most exciting announcement like, ever.
So two months ago, I had this idea for a Pop Up Shop and NOW IT'S HAPPENING!
Literally, one day I was talking to my husband and texting my friend Kaitlin Chow...and then suddenly I was making calls and contacting brands, chatting specifics, and dreaming up floral arrangements, and new products, and then there were guestlistsandpressreleasesandordersandcoordinatingproduct and SUDDENLY----
Here I am! to announce to you the first ever PHL Pop Up Shop opening it's doors for you! this December 2nd.
So beyond the facebook event, I wanted to highlight all the beautiful brands and the lovely designers for you here so you can become AS EXCITED as I am about this and mark your calendars for this very important day in LME history!
I wanted to curate a pop up shop alongside other brands whom I admire both for their beautiful product line and for the women behind the brand. I started researching and reaching out and much to my excitement, the brands I thought would be a reach were the ones who were MOST excited and interested in making this happen!
I thought this event would be just about local brands, but it has become something even more special, showcasing the most beautiful products from southern New England, Philadelphia, and northern Virginia.
Together we showcase pieces that appeal to the woman who loves a story behind her lifestyle. From the handbags and dresses in her closet, the bracelet around her wrist, the scent that fills her home, the art on her walls, and the notes she sends to her friends; this girl is the daydreamer who’s got it all together. She is always ready for adventure and, therefore; always has a story to tell. Andrea Del Bello, KChow Studios, Madda & Co, Skeem Design, Virginia Dare Dress Co, and Lydia Marie Elizabeth all offer classic pieces to express the beautiful women you are. These designers all share a passion to create and an understanding that beauty is found in every detail.
Andrea of Andrea Del Bello Jewelry
I met Andrea through friends Katie Fong (my favorite formal wear designer) and Rhiana Wells (My favorite lifestyle and fashion blogger.) As fate would have it Andrea designs literally the most beautiful line of jewelry for women of all ages. She is based in Westport, Connecticut and has customers all over! If you're looking for something simply gorgeous and unique to give your girlfriends this is it- and you won't be able to resist the urge to treat yourself to something pretty too!
(PS, read this super fun article Rhiana did on Andrea on her Empowering Women segment.)
Kaitlin Chow of KChowStudios
Kaitlin and I met in our Design I class our first semester at Drexel University while studying Interior Design. From day one I admired Kaitlin's incredible attention to detail, ability to understand and implement design concepts well, and her immense talent of precision. She is truly multi talented, and her work is absolutely mesmerizing. Kaitlin is a born and bred New Yorker who is now based in Philadelphia. She is a photographer and will be selling her artwork and prints at the Pop Up.
Suji Meswani's team from Skeem Design
I discovered the Skeem line while waltzing through Anthropologie's home section. Although then I had no idea that they were a Philadelphia based brand. As I was researching for home decor based brands I came along Suji's line. Geoff Weiser and Suji Meswani are a husband and wife team with backgrounds in graphic design and product development. Geoff and Suji's team will be displaying their beautiful matchstick bottles and their trend based soy candles.
Madda's team from Madda & Co
I found Madda through another fav lifestyle and interiors blogger Patricia at Patricia's Palace. Madda is also local to the greater Philadelphia area/ Main Line and designs well-made handbags in ITALY! in classic styles offering soulful style, fashion that serves real women with not-so-glamourous lives-- professionals, on the go gals, and working mommas! I love Madda's ambition for elevating our every day with beautiful design. Personally, I am always looking for authentic well made handbags that don't scream a brand just for the sake of a brand. Her classic styles are simply gorgeous.
Rebekah J Murrary of Virginia Dare Dress Co.
Rebekah is a fascinating person to talk to. She is a successful wedding and fashion photographer in the greater Washington DC area, and her creativity has bubbled over into creating the most beautiful feminine yet uncomplicated day dresses to bring a sweeter elegance to everyday life. I found Rebekah through my own wonderful wedding photographer, Sarah Bradshaw. Finding Rebekah's dress line just highlighted to me how lucky I am to be loosely connected to so many amazingly creative women and it was definitely part of the inspiration for curating this pop up for them all to be Shop-able in one pretty little boutique like atmosphere.
And then of course, there is me from Lydia Marie Elizabeth.
Hello, there! I feel like we've met before....
At this pop up I will be premiering a Limited Edition line of silky faille PILLOWS! A pink Chippendale print, an aqueduct stripe in aqua (obviously,) and a gorgeous floral toile inspired by my dear friend's wedding just this year. My 2017 Interior and Architectural calendar, and Christmas cards, as well as tons of art, prints, and stationery will also be available to pick up.
Also... I'm manning the barcart at the Pop Up and can't wait to serve you our signature mocktail. ;-)
This is an event you are not going to want to miss. Bring all your friends and tell everyone on the way where you're coming to get check off your whole Christmas list this year! :)
