ABOUT THE COLLECTION 
In The Garden

A Collection born out of dreamy leisurely moments spent in formal gardens.
Each brushstroke is impulsive and deeply saturated to boldly communicate the fleeting sun-drenched moments of experienced color of a garden in the afternoon. Deep summer hues draw attention to attention to the contrast of light and dark, and Lydia’s insistence that we can appreciate the light better for the darkness and appreciate the garden of Eden more because of our expulsion.

An eloquent study of a glimpse and the delight in all creatures great and small.


Original painting is completed in distilled water and French watercolors on 300 lb natural edge watercolor French paper. The piece has been custom framed in elegant warm gold, the painting has been floated just slightly on a 1.5” premium camel linen matting and a 1/2” shadowbox effect.

A statement piece for any room.
